Planning your own fundraiser for The Felix Project? There are loads of ways that you can raise funds, whether it’s with friends and family, at work or a personal challenge. Here are our top tips for getting started.

1. Decide on your fundraiser

The first hurdle is to decide what your fundraiser is going to be. If you want it to be food related, you could host a supper club, cooking class or a good old-fashioned cake sale. Fancy something more social? How about a pub quiz, gig evening or film night. If you’re the adventurous type, why not go rogue with a skydive, head shave or Land’s End to John O’Groats style challenge.

2. Where and when

Make a plan for when and where your fundraiser is going to happen. If you need a venue, try to get that organised first – ask local pubs, businesses and community centres if they would host you. Try to pick a popular place with lots of footfall, and somewhere where you can keep costs to a minimum.

3. Tell the world

Once you know what you’re doing to raise funds for The Felix Project, set up your fundraising page and share it far and wide, using your networks to promote what you’re doing.

4. Get in touch

!We’re here to help! Our fundraising team would love to hear all about what you’re doing and help you raise as much as possible. If you’re planning a fundraiser, please let Rebecca know at rebecca@thefelixproject.org.
