GAIL's is on a mission to donate all its surplus food to local charities

by Tash Clementis

Our central London evening operation supports GAIL’s Bakery and their Making Good Food go Further initiative by collecting surplus fresh food from the bakeries at the end of the day and delivering it to really worthy charities that support the many vulnerable people living in London. Currently we collect from six bakeries and with continued help from our incredible volunteers we hope to collect from more locations in the coming months.

You can watch GAIL's video to learn more about their mission to donate all their surplus food to local charities, and for insights into how we work you can read Katie Reid's Blog.

If you're a volunteersupplier or charity who'd like to get involved, please click on the links to find out more. We'd love to hear from you!
