Join us in this 100km, one day cycle tour of London!

Love cycling and want to ride for a good cause? Looking for a reason to get in shape? Want to help fighting hunger and food waste in London?

Join us in our innaugural Annual Ride to Provide London Cyclothon, cycling a beautiful 100km route taking in some of the capital’s world-famous landmarks!


This is a fully guided 100km (62 mile) ride, with full mechanical support and ride captains, taking you through the streets of London, past many of the London landmarks. ​

  • Date: May 1st
  • Cycling distance: 100km
  • Different speeds: 3 groups aiming averages of 23km/h to 28km/h ensure a comfortable ridfe for everyone
  • Starting and ending point: Our food warehouse in Poplar, London
  • Entry fee: £49, enough to deliver 300 meals to hungry Londoners
  • Your Fundraising target: £450, enough to deliver 2,745 meals to London communities

The Route

This mostly flat route starts and finishes at our Felix Kitchen in Poplar and has three feed stops located at each of our depots:

  • Enfield - 22.3km
  • Park Royal - 60.8km
  • Deptford - 90km
  • Poplar - 100km

The morning will begin with a team briefing at 0800 and groups will set off at short intervals from 0830.

Please note, this is not a closed roads event, although you will be cycling mostly on cycle lanes and in parks.

Where is the start location?

The ride will start and finish at our Felix Kitchen in Poplar.


Do I need insurance?

We recommend that you have appropriate cover for you and your bike.


Do I have to wear a cycle helmet?

All participants are required to wear a cycle helmet for the duration of the ride.


Are spare parts available for my bike?

We have bike mechanics who will be at the event and will have spare parts for most bikes. Participants are expected to be able to fix a puncture.


What facilities are available?

There will be toilets at the start and finish and at each feed stop.


Is there a bag drop facility?

A small bag can be left at the start, whilst the area will be staffed at all times this will be left at your own risk and should not contain valuables.


What happens if I get lost?

Each group will have a ride leader who will guide you throughout the route so nobody gets lost or left behind.


What happens if I can't complete the ride?

We would suggest that if when you reach a stop, you feel you can't continue you make your ride leader aware.


How long do I have to complete the ride?

We expect the last riders to finish no later than 1800.


Can I cycle with my friend?

Yes! Tell us who you're participating with and we make sure you're in the same group!


Can I take part on an e-bike?

Yes, e-bikes are welcome too!
