We urgently need your help this holiday season to fight hunger in London. Help The Felix Project deliver tonnes of good food to over 900 local charities to feed those most in need. No one should go hungry in London.
Since coming out of the military, Colin's quality of life has been "a bit up and down, a bit unbalanced". That's why he came to Acton Homeless Concern - a charity that helps people in the area with food, clothes or accessing health services; and one of over 900 organisations in London receiving Felix food for free.
The UK's rate of food poverty is among the worst in Europe. The problem is also becoming more prevalent amongst serving personnel, and veterans like Colin. £50 donated today will help someone like Colin to eat well over the holiday season and beyond.
The Felix Project collects surplus food donations from the UK food industry - working with partners like Ocado, Sainsburys, Fortnum & Masons, and more.
This Christmas, we will rescue enough food for 3 million meals, delivered to over 900 local organisations for people in need – helping over 250,000 Londoners weekly, including families, the elderly, the homeless, refugees and more.
We are proud to keep a high spend efficiency. 81p in every £1 you give spent in preventing food waste and delivering surplus food to charities feeding vulnerable people in London.
