Celebrity chef Jack Stein has joined our campaign with The Quintessentially Foundation to get food to the most vulnerable people in London during lockdown.
Follow Jack's cooking class on Instagram to make a delicious quarantine dinner at home, and then donate the cost of a meal out to The Felix Project so that we can get food to a person going hungry.
The Felix Project rescues surplus food from being wasted and delivers it to food banks and other charities, so it can reach people in need - the homeless, struggling families, domestic abuse survivors and refugees.
Right now in London, there is a huge hunger crisis because coronavirus has made it harder to find and afford food. We are working on overdrive to get food out to people in lockdown - including people who are sick, the elderly, and children & families in isolation.
In April we rescued and delivered enough food for 1.63 million meals. But this crisis is not going away - if anything, it is set to get worse. We need your help so we can continue to reach as many people are possible with good, nutritious food.
We are proud to keep a high spend efficiency. 90p in every £1 you give spent in preventing food waste and delivering surplus food to charities feeding vulnerable people in London.
