The Felix Project is coming to East London, and we're launching a new warehouse and kitchen just in time to deliver over 1,000 meals a day to children an families who need food for the summer holidays.
Located in Tower Hamlets, a borough of London with some of the worst child poverty rates in all of Europe, we estimate that our new warehouse will deliver 6.5 million meals a year to charities & schools in the local area. Right now, we’re on the look-out for:
Next door to our warehouse, you'll find Felix’s Kitchen – where we’ll use the surplus food we rescue to cook healthy ready-made meals for schools and charities in the local community!
Volunteering in our Kitchen is a great way to learn new skills to enhance your CV, or even transition into a career in food! All volunteers will be offered health and food safety training as part of the role, and will receive training certificates upon completion.
