This MONTH we celebrate the 4th anniversary of our first food collections and deliveries, back in March 2016!
Since that very first food collection, we have grown to be one of the largest food redistribution charities in the country, rescuing and delivering the equivalent of 6.4 million meals in 2019 to those who need our services the most, reaching 600 local organisations thanks to our collective efforts.
And yet we know we are only scratching the surface of the current need in London. 1.5 million adults experience hunger in our capital city, 400,000 children are at risk of missing their next meal. We have a waiting list of over 300 charities that we cannot serve because we don't have resources to do so.

Last year we rescued over 2,600 tonnes of surplus food, enough to deliver 6.4m meals in London to communities in need while preventing the up to 13,500 tonnes of green house emissions that could have resulted from food waste in landfill -the equivalent of running 1,400 houses for a year!
