What roles are we looking for?

Warehouse Assistant Sort through rescued surplus food

Driver Deliver Felix food to charities & schools in the area

Green Scheme Walk or cycle across central London, collecting and redestributing food.

Felix Kitchen Cook and prep delicious meals in our Poplar kitchen.

When can you volunteer?

While the times of our volunteering shifts differ between the different roles and locations, our core times are Monday to Friday from 9am till 6pm. We have some limited evening and weekend shifts, too.

How old do I need to be?

You need to be 16 years or older in order to volunteer with us.

Do I need to be physically fit?

You need to be fairly active to be a Felix volunteer. Roles involve lifting crates of food and boxes can weigh up to 11kg.

When do I need to be available?

The times of our volunteering shifts differ between the different roles and locations. Typically, most volunteering shifts last for a few hours and run during working hours in the mornings and afternoons. We also have some evening and weekend shifts available.

How regularly do I have to volunteer?

That is entirely up to you. We do not request a minimum or maximum commitment from our volunteers.
