Volunteer in East London's Depot & Kitchen

• Learn about Felix: first you will join you Volunteer Manager for a presentation on what we do, why we do it and how you can get involved. This will also be an opportunity to ask us any questions you might have!
• Meet the team: you’ll then have a tour and meet our Operations Team, as well as the other amazing volunteers who will be by your side fighting food waste and hunger.
• Safety First: safety is paramount at Felix so your next step will be to do some manual handling and food safety training.
• Get stuck in: finally, you can finish the day by joining a shift for an hour or two, so no matter what, you will have helped us save good food and get it to good causes who need it!

Located in Tower Hamlets, a borough of London with some of the worst child poverty rates in all of Europe, we estimate that our new warehouse and kitchen will deliver food for 6.5 million meals a year to charities & schools in the local area. Right now, we’re on the look-out for:

• Warehouse Assistants: Sort through rescued surplus food
• Drivers: Deliver Felix food to charities & schools in the area
• Admin Assistants: Support our operation behind the scenes with office tasks
• Kitchen Staff
