Join us for our Felix Festive Carol Concert in the stunning St. Mary Abbots Church in Kensington for an evening of beautiful carols, festive cheer, and community spirit.
With a performance from the spectacular St Mary’s Ukrainian Choir, readings from special guests (to be announced shortly!) and delicious refreshments, this promises to be an evening full of festive joy, all while supporting The Felix Project in the fight against food waste and hunger in London.
A real highlight of the Felix Festive Carol Concert will be a stunning performance from St. Mary’s Ukrainian Choir.
Under the leadership of Olenka Svitlyk, the choir was found a year ago with many of the choir members being displaced children who enjoy music as an escape.
Over the past year, the choir performed at about 20 concerts and charity events, including the 2023 Christmas Concert at Westminster Abbey by the invitation of the Royal Family.
Also performing are Some Voices, the UK's most exciting non-audition pop choir. Started in London in 2010 when 7 singers met up to socialise and sing! This has grown to over 1,300 members meeting at 15 venues across London, the UK, and even Europe!
And you might even recognise some Felix faces, as several choir members also volunteer at The Felix Project!
The Felix Project is proud to support a variety of organisations helping those displaced by war, including The Ukrainian Club of Great Britain, St. Mary’s School, and Wilberforce School, whom we provide with meals during summer holiday camps and weekly deliveries for their local food banks.
We couldn’t do this without your help. By supporting events like our Felix Festive Carol Concert, you make a real difference — thank you.
We look forward to seeing you there!
