There are heaps of ways for your workplace to raise funds for Felix. By galvanising your team to raise funds for our work, you are helping us in our fight against food waste and food poverty.
Here are some ideas to get you started:
Skip Lunch Fight Hunger. Encourage some company-wide altruism and organise a day where everyone donates what they would have spent on lunch. Let your colleagues know that for every £1 donated, Felix can save £5 worth of food - meaning that their small act could have a big impact.
Pub quiz. Host a pub quiz and ask for a donation for every team entry. Boost your fundraising by holding a raffle on the night. If you can’t spend lots of money on raffle prizes, see if local shops and businesses would donate. You can always include prizes that don’t cost you anything, such as a week using the best office car park space or a free day of annual leave.
Dress Down Day. This one works best if your office has a strict dress code and people would love to be more casual for a day. Ask everyone who dresses down to give a small donation, all of which can go straight to your Felix fundraising.
Party for Food Waste. If your company has an annual ball, summer party or big company gathering, dedicate it to The Felix Project. Donate a percentage of the ticket price to us, and host a raffle during the event to make the most of your fundraising.
We’re here to support you in your fundraising, so please get in touch to let us know what you’re up to! You can get in touch with Isabella at email@example.com.
Want to make more of your Felix fundraising? If your company is interested in making The Felix Project your charity of the year or becoming one of our Corporate Partners, please get in touch – we’d love to have you on board!
With a little help from our friends...
The Felix Project and FareShare have agreed in principle a move that will see Felix take over the running of FareShare’s London operation and join the FareShare Network.
London’s three biggest food redistribution charities partner to provide an emergency response service for the capital.
We get to spend some more time together, but doing something different that breaks with our routine -and certainly better than just sitting watching telly all the time!
