Don't know what to do with those radishes? Discover this recipe for roasted crunch radishes with bacon, a great way to use radishes in a different and great way. Crucnchy, peppery and delicious.

Top tip: This dish goes well with chicken instead of roast potatoes!



INGREDIENTS

  • 500 gr radishes, whole or cut in half when big
  • Juice of ½ a lemon
  • 80 gr margarine
  • 200 gr diced bacon
  • Optional fresh herbs


METHOD

  1. Melt the butter until you see some brown specs, add the lemon juice and take off the heat.
  2. Mix half the butter with the radishes and roast for 20 min in the oven.
  3. In the meantime fry the bacon until it brown and crispy.
  4. When the radishes are ready add the rest of the butter and mix in the bacon.
