Meet Rory and Pete, two of our friends from Zip Car

Rory and peter

Name: Rory | Role: Driver & Co-driver | Typical route: Route 4 - Victoria | Favourite Food: Pizza | Tune of the week: Foals – White Onions

Rory says; “Doing volunteer work opened my eyes to the ludicrous amounts of waste food we create – re-directing this to those who need it most just makes sense. The Felix Project is a great organisation where everyone seems to crack on and help out where they can, I love the fact that the Victoria Van is above my office too!”

Name: Peter | Role: Driver & Co-driver | Typical route: Route 4 - VictoriaFavourite Food: Spaghetti Bolognese | Tune of the week: Distractor - Falling Down The Stairs

Pete says; “I love The Felix Project's mission of reducing food waste and get immense satisfaction from delivering crates laden with food to those who really need a decent meal. I enjoy meeting all kinds of people during the shifts and think it's a really good way to see and feel London from a different perspective. The best shift I've done was Christmas Eve when we collected enough to feed hundreds from Fortnum's!”
