My name is Toto and I am originally from Milan, Italy. I have always been passionate about food for its magic ability of bringing different people together around a table. After a good 12 years spent in corporate consultancy, I decided to follow my ambition of becoming a chef and never looked back since! I joined a professional culinary diploma at Westminster Kingsway College and fulfilled a lifelong dream of working in Paris as a chef.
Back in the Big Smoke, I set up my own company, The Italian Supper Club. It was an independent catering business specialised in Italian food and products for private parties, weddings and any sort of receptions. I have always been fascinated by fresh pasta and used it in my work whenever possible. I love how just a few simple ingredients can come together so beautifully and offer so many possibilities.
I joined The Felix Project in November 2024 as a Chef Trainer, to lead the new kitchen employability scheme here in Poplar. My motto in the kitchen is that food tastes better when it has a story to tell and, with all the different stories we have here at Felix, I am confident I will be able to work my magic.
