We are coming to East London!

The Felix Project will be launching a new depot in East London following our ambitious plans to rescue and deliver enough food for 100 million meals by 2024 -and you can be part of it!

We are planning to open a brand-new larger depot in the heart of East London, based in Poplar. We will be a 10-minute walk from Mile End underground station, and a 15 minute walk from Limehouse DLR and Bromley-by-Bow underground stations. Sign up below, or keep reading to find out more!

How to sign up?

The first step is booking a virtual induction call with us. This call will help you understand more about Felix, your future role as a volunteer and will give you a chance to meet some of your fellow future volunteers to start building the Poplar community!

We currently have three slots available. The induction will be between 45-60min long, and because it's virtual, you can do it from the comfort of your own home.

Please book your slot below.

What roles are we looking for?

Warehouse Assistant
Volunteers are an essential part of the operation, sorting the food we receive from our supply partners, and preparing crates of food ready to be delivered out to the organisations that we support across London. Anyone can do it, as long as you are relatively fit and active.

Driver
Drivers are responsible for visiting our suppliers to collect high-quality and nutritious food and delivering this food to our charities. This role will give you the opportunity to get out and about in London and see first-hand the impact the charity is having on people’s lives. Drivers need to be aged over 21 years, have been driving for over a year and have no more than five points on their license.

Co-driver
Along with a driver, co-drivers are responsible for visiting our suppliers to collect high-quality and nutritious food and delivering this food to our charities. Co-drivers assist the driver with navigation, completing some admin tasks along the route and helping load and unload the van. Due to COVID-19, we are only allowing co-drivers to go out if they are in the same household or support bubble as the driver.
